With the weather cooling off the big boys are starting to make an appearance. This year looks very promising as last year was a disappointment in my opinion. With the heavy rains last winter the bucks are feeding really well and packing some enormous wood on their heads.
If you haven't been out scouting your favorite hunting spot yet, take some time and check it out.

I have seen a few nice buck already and I haven't even been out to my good spots yet. This year is going to produce some wall hangers. Good luck everyone.

I took a little ride after the thunder storm yesterday and counted 8 real nice bucks, two of which I would consider wall hangers. If D-5 is looking this good, I can just imagine what D-6 looks like.
It sounds like Calif hunters are going to enjoy a really good hunt this year.

By the way Blueoak, real nice bucks your family took in Nevada last season. Sweet!
