Bowhunting tonight.
Got within 53 yards of nice 3 point blackie.
My kid ranged him and whispered 53 yards.
I come to full draw...hold my 50 yard pin just a tad high...
And proceed to drill the tiny oak limb between me and the buck.
Don't you hate it when that happens?
Lots of hunting left.
The 3pointers partner is bigger anyway!

have your son grab your heaviest LOOMIS rod and reel and have him cast one of those big arse MEPP's and pull him in closer for you! 50's pushing it...

The kid had a nice 3 point at 20 yards tonight.
I was a wreck watching the whole thing unfold from the opposite slope.
He just couldn't get the shot off quick enough and the buck bolted.
Still very exciting!
