Are you nuts? HELL YES!!!! Although I haven't shot very many big deer. I assume you have. Congrats on letting him live another day if it's not what you're looking for. He'll make somebody's hunt- I'll tell you that.

The only time I would not shoot that buck would be if the season was closed or if he was on posted property. Otherwise that buck is in deep trouble!

Oh, and HELL YES by the way.
I did see one blackie that size in Wa. in about 1995 shot up in the Wynoochie Hills that had to be close to 30". Got a good look in back of this pickup.

Dang, I guess I used the wrong wording for the subject line. I don't even hunt blacktails anymore but if I did and saw this buck, I would drop the hammer IF it was on property I could hunt which was not the case here for Dan or Louie. But they got the pictures to show that a "booner" is running around up here.

Hope that some SOB doesn't get in there and poach him, might be having lead thrown at him too, the hunter that is.

I don't know much about blacktails, but that is a great looking deer. for what i know he is huge looking to me
hopefully a deserving hunter gets a crack at him and not some lowlife poacher

dead buck. I have killed many trophy black tails, the only way I would pass that up is if I was certain there was something better. But 99 out of a hundred times KABOOM
