Great buck there Roy and for the pictures as well. Nice to see father/son and father/daughter hunting teams. Just need to see more mother/son and mother/daughter hunts as well.

Better yet, how about some grandfather/grandmother hunters with the off-springs.

That is a great buck and with a bow to boot. Great job taking it with your kid in tow, I bet he had a blast! Thanks for posting the pics.

Yes, they're classified in CA record book as a Pacific Hybrid. They have a predominatley black tail, smaller antler configurations compared to muleys & Blacktails, with medium size ears. The state record Hybrid (archery) is only 139 5/8".....which is smaller than Columbian Blacktail (151 2/8").
