Old times

Nice old photo coonhound40. One to be treasured for sure. Here is a photo of my dad with the first buck he ever killed. He only killed two in his life. The second one was when we were hunting together.

This was taken in 1952. California blacktail. You can tell he fought in WWII by the way he is holding his rifle.:) That rifle (a Marlin 336) is one of my prized possessions now.

Cool shots. The buck on the far left is a beast. had to be well over 200lbs. Thanks for sharing.

Question for you guys, how are you scanning those old photos? My home printer might be able to do that, but I've never tried.

If your printer has a scan feature you can use most any photo software, the best would probably be Adobe but that is spendy. You would typically have an icon with the scanner function or you might find a line under file that says get photo, when you click on that it will give you options one of them should be your installed scanner.

Microsoft photo editor is also capable not very powerful for editing but easy to use.

All I did was take a picture of my old photograph with my digital camera and cropped it in Photoshop. I don't have a scanner.
