Yolla Bolly or Trinity Alps Packers

Hi guys. Do any of you know of any packers (horse, mule, llama) that pack hunters into the wilderness areas that you can recommend? I am looking at going deep into the wilderness and did not want to have to pack it on my back but I will if I don't get anywhere with a packer. Your help would be much appreciated.

My dad is outa Ft Bragg. He's not a packer for hire but he has been selling/ outfitting guys with Llama pack strigs for a few years. If your just looking for a packer for the season I'm sure he can recomend someone. If your interested you can email me at rw7949@yahoo. Ryan

Try looking over this list and go from there. I only know of one person that does the Yollo's but not sure if his outfit is called Yollo Bolly Outfitters or not. His name is Rick Jones and he comes on here at times.

LAST EDITED ON May-28-07 AT 10:28PM (MST)[p]Save yourself some money and just go w/ a packer(vs a guide). Some will do it for less than $200/person. Find one that's based near a trailhead you want to go in on. Usually that's where you get the best price. The easier it is for them, the easier it's gonna be on your wallet. Lots of 'em out there to choose from, just make sure that you are the one that packs your valubles. LOL.
