Applegate Muzzleloader

I have been blessed with an Applegate muzzleloader tag this year. I was wondering if any of you blacktail hunters in that area would have any tidbits of info for a guy from Wyoming. I will be at my uncles ranch in Oregon about 45 minutes north of the zone. Any info would be helpful and I promise to share the story and pics when it is over.
