Lucky again another B zone buck

Well I have been lucky this year after taking a good four point the third Day of season, hunting was a little tougher. Went to Idaho and took a good buck I posted on the mule deer section. Had to work for two days before I could head back to B zone for one last shot and found this guy the second to the last day. What a great year I am not only lucky with the game this year, but lucky to have such great hunting partners.

Also, heck of a nice looking rifle - custom yes? Care to share some of the details - stock, barrel - who put it together and so on. I'm in the process and sure like the look of that one.

This is a B3 buck and yes the rifle is a custom one. It was built by craig Maraviov of Maraviov's custom gunsmithing. Dont know all the specifics, but I know the stock is a high tech which craig custom paints for you. It has a #3 barrel which craig did the fluting on. He had the bolt spiral fluted and the handle drilled to lighten it up some more. It has a set trigger which takes the trigger pull down to I beleive 7 oz. The scope is a luepold 6.5 X 20 which I have had a custom engraved bullet drop compensation dial added to it. May have it muzzel broke during the off season this year, not sure just yet. If you want any more info let me know.

That is one stud of a buck you have there.
I have had several close calls with bucks of that caliber and haven't been able to seal the deal.

Congrats Jason and a great B zone buck. He looks like he might score pretty good. have u put a tape on him. He probbly is not B&C but a dam nice buck. He sure looks like he has some mass. Look in the Mule deer fourm and check out my dads CO buck that i found for him. Not a monster but a 30 inch buck none the less.

Aaron Thats a good lookin deer your dad killed. Sounds like you guys had a blast, congrats too him. Poor guy has only killed 13 30 inchers I sure feel bad for him lol. Put a quik tape on it and came up with 135 1/2 gross and 131 1/4 net, close but not quite, oh well I am happy with him. Was able to pull out two four points on a tough year and took a decent 24" buck in Idaho, no complaints about my season. Thinking about going back to Idaho Thanksgiving to hunt 39 late archery, you know anything about it?
