My father in law Phil and our friend Jason took a couple of Mendecino County "WHACKERS". Jason (1st pic) and Phil (2nd pic) hunted in B1 zone in Northern California and each harvested a nice buck. I don't have all the details right now but both bucks will make the book.

Nice bucks, first one does not look like a book buck to me but the second one does.

I agree, the first one does not fork deep enough and that cheater will be a deduction on the first buck. Second one should make 135" though. Personally would not pass up either one! Two dandy's in my book. Nice Job!

Well Phil had his buck officially measured last week. He grossed 142 and netted 137 Boone and Crockett.
