Darick's first Blacktail 2007

My niece's BF Darick, took his first blacktail on our ranch the second evening of the 2007 season. The big 3x3 was feeding on acorns when Darick spotted him about 150 yards away. A clean one shot kill was all it took. A very impressive big bodied Blackie is a very nice first.

This is a pic of my 2007 tiny 3x3 I took for meat. A great tasting young buck.
