Come on guys, tommorrow is opening day of Archery in B-unit. Who else is as P U M P E D as me? I can't wait to get out there, just being in the woods with your family is reward enough. My son will get his first chance at trying to take a Grouse or Quail with his bow. Ican't wait.

Good luck slide......and where do you get those youth early season grouse and quail permits?.....might want to get a few for the kids myself...LOL

Archery season for quail and grouse openes Aug.16th. No special permit needed.

Back in, well, long time ago when i bowhunted, could hardly count on hitting a full growed up deer let alone some skinny quail. lol

Hats off to you who hunt quail with a bow!! i believe i'd have better luck throwing a baseball at em. Sounds like fun though!

I've killed a couple grouse while bowhunting for deer. I've never tried quail though.
