Just got this picture this afternoon from a friend, never seen any this size either in Mendocino County. Sure a nice brute from that location, and the pot farmers never shot it either.

that looks just like the set of horns i seen at the taxidermest today if so he is a freaking stud the kind of buck all of us blacktail hunters dream about

What does a guy say about a buck like that?

"Freaking Huge" doesn't do it justice. That's the equivelent of a 220+ typical muley or a 400+ class bull with a trash point.

Now thats a blacktail! Not one of these muley influenced oregon bucks. How do deer know not to cross I-5 anyways???? california has a hybrid catagory maybe someone should send a book to oregon.

nuts4bucks,

David I would bet that it was the same Buck then. Rick does good work and fast turn around time too.
It was taken by a local in that area and Rick has a good many clients from that area.

A buddy of mine hunted over that way last weekend and shot a fine 21" 4x3.
He did run into someone's cash crop too.....
