Here is another buck we took this year in high country b-zone
burns. Its a 5X3 and measures 20" wide by 18" tall. Let us know what you think.

Man, what a stud buck!! love the extra heigth. That, and that frame, really makes him a special buck. Blacktail bucks get no or little credit by lots of people as game animals. To get a buck like that is very tough to do and a very rare occurence indeed!

If you don't mind, what elevation were you hunting? Were you down low in the oaks or were the bucks still up on the ridges?

Awsome buck! Bob called on the way home and was pretty jacked up about the buck. You have without a doubt earned this buck. I am going to go over and give it one more try myself before i go hunt a real deer they are called mule deer if you did not know.lol Congrats again. Aaron Amator
