Paunsaugunt Trade

I was living in NorCal (Gridley) but have gone back to college in Idaho. My daughter's father-in-law grew up in the Paunsaugunt area in southern Utah. He owns land that he guides on and knows the public land as well or better that just about anyone that guides the area. He normally gets $5,000 plus for guiding (no tag included at this price). He has never hunted Blacktail Deer and he would really like to hunt somewhere that would give him a good chance at a trophy buck. He is willing to trade his guiding services in the Pauns for a chance at a good Blacktail.

1) Is there an MM member that is interested in this?
2) Does anyone know of a good ranch or guide service to direct him to?

If anyone is interested he can also line you up with a Pauns tag that can be purchased.

Thanks for your help!

I know a guy who has a 12x12, 28 wide, buck on his property and would love to trade it for a hunt. let me know.

Got any pics? Is that 12x12 fully grown or is it from last year? Is it 100% blacktail from the correct side for B&C purposes? What hunting zone or county?

12x12 Blacktail???

Send me a pic when someone kills it, cause I call BS. If my buddy had that buck on his property it'd be in my freezer and on my wall asap. No one sits on a blacktail of that size.

To add... if there was a blacktail that was able to become a 12x12 it would be killed prior to being that big. A 12x12 blacktail is unheard of. Even huge blacktails are only 6x6, so I am calling BS to the whole thing.

Prove me wrong... kill it and send me a pic!

300Mag I agree, but if it does exist I wanna see. I love blacktails! If I can figure out how to post pics I have trail-cam pics of a bruiser 5x5!

A bruiser 5x5 I can understand, sounds like a dandy. I just have a hard time believing people who post about blacktails and describe their antlers like a mule deer or whitetail buck. I'm sure somewhere there may be a buck that gets up in size, but the reality of having a blacktail with anything greater than 7x7 is skeptical at best. Like I said, No One would sit on a blacktail that is anywhere near that size if it existed.

Just a piece of info... the record for B&C blacktail is a giant 5x5. The record non-typical is a huge 9x9. Even if the rack is not super high or wide, this fictional buck would book no problem.
