I am also considering doing a solo archery General blackie hunt in the late season in SE Oregon. In suggestions between Evans Creek and Rogue since I have never hunted blackies in Oregon, or anywhere else for that matter.

Thanks for any help.

Not to be critical but the late season blacktail hunt is NOT in SE oregon. I believe you were talking about SW/SC oregon. Just making sure you are not hunting an area were you might get in trouble. Evans creek and Rouge units are in SW/SC area. Just dont travel any more east than the Rogue unit.

Good area would be around COPCO road. This borders the Keno and Rogue unit.

Manny15-I usually do PM guys if I'm going to be specific about an area. Copco road is very very vague. Not a big secret since there are TONS of hunters hunting the area.

Thanks for the correction...I meant Southwest. Specifically Sixes, Rogue and Evans Creek.

Thanks, Ed
