manny: Nope I was trophy hunting again and actually missed one real nice buck. I miss-judged the yardage and shot under him. I only passed on a few smaller bucks, all in all it was a pretty slow late season again. This is the first year in last 25 that I did not take a big game animal with my bow. I did get a turkey on Thanksgiving day with my bow. Maybe Next Year!

my son inlaw only saw two legal bucks, slow as well, did it seem to you like the rut was late in starting?

Not to me it seemed about normal, if anything I would say it was a bit early. They were pretty much done by the end of season. I have seen it before when the last weekend was the best. The clear cold weather did not help any..
