They sure grow them big down south! Not like the Blacktails I grew up hunting in the Oregon rain forest. Awesome buck.

They are smokers for sure, but you have to remember the blackie only has ears of about eighteen inches wide and the velvet is thick. These are lower country bucks and probably only weigh 150lbs soaking wet if that.

Looks like a solid 140 to me

Man oh man is that a nice buck! Ive seen some smoker backtails in my life also, and in "my" personal memory bank that one right there ranks about #3 for me.
