I spent the best part of two days last weekend on the Rattlesnake shooting
some sheep photos. I go down there most years and usually find more sheep than I found this year, but here are a few of the photos I shot while there.

And I will end it with this strange photo. Can anyone figure out why it looks so different??

Have a good one. BB

I shot most of my photos with my Olympus E5 camera and a Zukio 90-250 4/3 lens. With that camera I shot all of them with the aid of a tripod. I shot some freehand with my Olympus E3 with my 50-200 4/3 lens.

Here's the ram that swam the River as he shook off some of the water on this coat.

And it didn't take him long to start his rutting behavior.

Love the "dog shake" photo. I've spent a ton of time there waiting trying to catch one crossing the river but it never works out.

The above photos are of two rams courting a ewe. They butted horns several times while chasing her however I was never positioned right to get photos of the contact.

The last two photos are of a solitary ram that happened by as I was leaving.

These photos were also taken on the Rattlesnake this past weekend...did not see nearly as many sheep as in the past and no exceptional rams.

BB I really appreciate the quality of your photos.
