Gulf Coast Adventure

Our family took a spring break trip down to Padre Island and Port Aransas, Texas last week. That area of the gulf coast is a haven for migratory birds. I especially enjoyed chasing some of the big birds. Here's several of my favorites from the trip. Enjoy.

Cool shots with good light and angles. The long plumage of the heron is striking to me. These bring back some memories of when I lived near Corpus, but I was more concerned about fishing or watching bikinis back then ;-)
