I have a Nikon D7000 with the Kit lense, a 50MM lense and a 70-300MM lense.

I was down in Nevada Dinking around, a found a few of those doing their thing. They were a ways off, so I was trying to digiscope them, without success. Your pictures are great, and you found a pile of them. Sweet!

I shot some sharpies this morning and was going after sage-grouse tomorrow, but it supposed to be overcast so I will wait until next week.

Curious, are those last few shots on a disturbed area? Road?

I went up a few mornings ago this week, but the grouse were a long ways out and there were lots of people there so I didn't get any close photos.
