Went on a hike up to Malan's Basin a couple of weeks ago and found this little guy right off the trail.

Fortunately it was still cool and he was more occupied digesting his dinner from the night before.

Out dog training last week and ran into a couple of them, I hate them things when I'm out with the dogs.

Found this complete shed skin yesterday in my yard, but its not the dangerous kind.

Gator, I would guess garter snake. I found him yesterday with his girlfriend curled up under some boards. He jetted around the shed, but she stayed put. The skin was32 inches long, so he's good sized

OSOK, funny you say that. Most my friends hate snakes..any snakes. I told one of my buddys I found a fresh white shed in my yard. He stopped by to see and I took him out to show him. He actualy stepped back when he saw it. I sent the shed pic to other buddys, titled new shed. They didn't like my find. I live in west Roy, you ought to swing by sometime. I'm liking your photos a lot.

This is a pic of the last one I encountered. He would've had to give up his breakfast to be of any threat to us!I thought it was pretty cool...he actually finished eating as I watched!
