I have been looking for a new backpack for my camera plus my spotting scope and was wondering what everybody else is using or recommends. I have looked at probably 20 different ones but don't know which one would be best. Any suggestions are appreciated and if you can could you put a link or a picture with it so I could see what it looks like.

my setup that I will be packing is a vortex razor spotter 85mm
canon T3I with a 70-300 sigma lens and my scope cam adapter plus tripod

Thanks for the help and suggestions

I've been using an Eberlestock X2 for all my scouting and camera hauling. It holds a 70-200 and 24mm in one side wing with my spotter in the other wing. I put my tripod between one side wing and the main bag. This leaves the top pockets and the main bag for my camera, rain gear, extra cloths and water.

It is also big enough to put my 600mm with the camera attached in the main bag with cloths stuffed around it. I attach my monster tripod by the main flap and held on by the wing straps. I don't carry my spotter when I have that thing as it's already 35 lbs. The water then goes in the one wing pouch when I don't have a spotter with me.

All in all I think its a pretty sweet setup for carrying camera gear and being able to hunt with it. It also does pretty well for hauling boned out quarters.

Cheers,
Pete

Big 6-

I highly recommend the Flipside series.

I've got the Flipside 300. That one would be too small for what you're trying to do though. I can carry my body, a 70-200mm, and 2 other lenses along with some other accessories. I'm sure they have one that will meet your needs.

Good Luck,

Gaetz
