As a bowhunter I always want to get close in and up personal with the animals I hunt. One of my biggest faults as a photographer wannabe is doing the same thing. I like to take close up photos of critters. But this past week I could not help but pick up my camera with my small lens when I saw these elk. Can any of you see why? I don't think I made a mistake, other than not doing it more often. I need to be more cognizant of this in the future.

I'm not one for telling my grandson how big of turd I had to pinch off from having to eat so much meat. I want to give him the antlers that hang from my wall and tell him the unforgettable experience that came with each and every one.

Beautiful BB!
