WOW! I've seen your pics before... beautiful! I look forward to seeing much more. Thanks for sharing.

SWEET. I believe thats the first bedded bull moose pic I've ever seen. And its a sweet pic. As they all are.

Larry I was talking about you just tonight with a friend of yours, O_S_O_K. We were talking about your going out to Antelope Island and taking photos. Its a small world, and you post this while I was talking to him.

Back to the moose laying down. It was not long before dark and I took almost 100 photos of him laying there. Many are the same, but I got a few different ones. He laid there until it was too dark to shoot.

Here's another of that same bull laying there. Just a little different lighting and a little different angle possibly.

And one more of him.

Have a great evening. BB

Oh man, I love those 2 shots. Plus he is a great bull. Ya, someday I hope to meet both of you. Maybe we could all make a trip out there.

Keep the pics coming

Larry, that would be great.

Here he is standing up. I took a few when he was standing, but then he walked into the trees and laid down. It was shady and in the evening so the light was poor by that time and in that area, but being he was laying and still it made for some great shooting, at least under those dark conditions.

Have a good one. BB

Man that really is a great bull. A funny story, My older sister always believed that moose in Utah were a myth, because try as she would, she had never seen one. Even when my wife killed a bull in 2002, she couldn't be convinced. Finally, in about 2007 or 8, she saw her 1st moose, and has photographed several cows and calves since. But still she has never see a bull. I showed her your pics, and this was her response.

"I would really love to get shots like these. I don't know if it's more of wanting to see a big moose this close up, or the taking of the picture that would excite me more.) Whichever one it is---it's something I look forward to one day.

These are awesome shots! How awesome!!!!

I like most the first of the these two extra. Must have been enjoyable to have him stay bedded.

You do have the magic touch Mr. I am always impressed by your photos.

What is your opinion of the superzoom digitals? I am not so good at lining up my little digital behind my optics and I'm not too keen on sporting around a big SLR like camera when I'm on the scout.
