mtmiller, most guys are not going to get too excited about those.
I think that is because they have never tried it.
Sharp tails dancing are the toughest thing I have ever tried to photograph.
When they are displaying like in photos #1 and #4 they move like lightning bolts.
Just keeping them in frame is very difficult.
Getting them in focus and freezing the action can be frustrating.
Getting gut level of quality that you did, its something to be proud of.
Sage grouse are much easier. They tend to just stand there and display.
But those sharptail pics earned you some respect from me.
I can take a thousand pics of elk, deer, goats, sheep, ect. Great results are not hard to come by. But with sharptails, its a different story.
Ever try digiscoping them? Its a nightmare.
