"Beginner looking for advice"

When I am not hunting I love to go out and video using my scope cam adapter. It works well and is easy to pack around. I am looking to up my game but I am not sure what to buy next. One guy told me about the DSLRs but that is out of my price range. Another mentioned a bridge camera. They are in my budget just don't know where to go from here. What about a camcorder? Anyway let me know what you think.

Thanks

There are really good camcorders out there for nothing. They may not be prosumer, but for what most of us are doing they will work great. If you are interested in making high end stuff, well then you probably need to spend a few pennies. I picked up a JVC Everio 6 years ago for $100 on black friday. It's HD and has a big zoom. Here's a sample.
