custom rifle stocks

been thinking of putting a custom stock one of my rifles it is a Christensen arms 300wsm the stock on it now is a howa 1500, looked at the CA stocks and eberlestock rifle stocks as well as the McMillan stocks any ideas or other stocks?

If you're into laminates check out Boydsgunstocks.com. Not sure if your rifle is compatible with their Howa version or not. Just got one for a Savage. Very nice.

Another one to look at is Manners Stocks. The will do an inlet for a Howa. I have a couple of them and they are nice stocks as well, a little on the pricier side though.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-11-14 AT 11:25PM (MST)[p]If I'm parting with lots of cash, McMillan is the only way to fly..Manners is also good, but after seeing some of the micky mouse things they have done for "custom: LOP's, I crossed them off the list, even tho i own a manners EH3 and like it..

McMillan remains the pinnacle if you're going synthetic.But run, dont walk, it took them 8 months to finish my last one, they are backed up big time. I recommend looking into their EDGE stocks if you want to keep weight down.
