Can any one tell what model this is or what company made it...?

Is there any model number on the barrel of the rifle. Many companies made firearms for Wards under the Western Field name. Off the wall guess would be Stevens for that gun.
If there is a model number, I have a Numrich GPC catalog that cross references the model number with the company that made it for Wards.

Go to local gun shows as they normally have vendors that sell magazines for dis-continued firearms. Be sure to take the rifle with you in order to see if any magazine works that you may fine.

You can also try contacting Numrich, also called GPC-Gun Parts Corp. they have a web site and see if one of their tecks may recognize the rifle and supply you with a magazine. They have more discontined firearms parts then any other company that I am aware of.
