Does any one have a model 24B? I am interested in these but trying to find out if they are as accurate as they claim.
Also to see if the point of impact is close for different bullets as they claim. any info appreciated.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-08-14 AT 01:45PM (MST)[p]I got one and love it. Best group to date was .688". Most hover around .75 moa. I have only shot 180 grain bullets out of it though. Nice to pack, not as easy to shoot as good as a heavier rifle off hand.

What caliber is that in. Im assuming 30/06.
Does that stock help for recoil on light weight rifle

Yup .30-06. The recoil pad on it soft and makes it tolerable to shoot, but then again the recoil from a .300 win does not bother me.

Melvin builds fine rifles, but the production style rifles are just average from the few I've seen.

The colt light rifles that were built when colt owned his company are not the same rifle he's selling now but shoot just as good for less money . if you can find one.
