Good bad or ugly?
Fierce Arms has my attention. I just don't know how good all the components are, being that they are all designed and machined by them. Anyone have thoughts on them. On the phone, they were great, but didn't tell me much more than I could find online about them.
Split off from Christiansen Arms, and they designed and machine every part of the rifle in house. They also own the carbon fiber company that builds the stocks. Compared to other rifle builders they keep coming to the top of my list for some reason.
Any thoughts?

Interesting, never heard of these guys before. Seems like a pretty good deal for their rifle, their action sure looks a lot like a Sako action.

Is this company out of CANADA? Last month I stopped by a friends house to visit and he showed me the article in a major mag printed in Utah I think it was. Make a long story short, I think this is the same rifle maker and he ordered one made for him in 300 Ultra Mag. Will check with him and make sure, but he was quite impressed after talking with the ordering department/distributor who I think was in Utah also.

I did a Google when I got home and it is a nice looking rifle.

Yes, all rifles are built at the Nutech factory in Canada.
Sales is based in Gunnison, Utah.

How does your friend like his 300?

John Mogle formerly with Christensen Arms is selling these rifles. You may have seen them advertised in Hunting Illustrated. That is John's magazine. He was also on Hooked on Utah Tv show about a month ago pushing these rifles. I have never played around with one of his rifles and have no buddies that have one. But I just put it off to be another long range rifle company, that keep popping up as of the last few years. Although with John's back ground he should know rifles . I had no idea they where coming out of Canada. I thought this was a Utah company ?

I talked to John at the hunting expo earlier this year. He said the rifles are made in Gunnison, Maybe I missed something but that's what I got out of the conversation. I know there rifles are really nice. If I had the money I would get one. I was impressed with the couple I looked at.

LAST EDITED ON May-22-14 AT 09:38PM (MST)[p]My friend said he is suppose to get his rifle later this summer I think. When he does I know he will give me a call to drive up there to see it.

Kind of interesting that they offer a .308 Norma mag. As I recall, the .308 Norma offered a slightly longer neck than a .300 winnie.
