I have a Browning abolt left hand wood stock in 270 WSM what would you say is the better recoil pad? Sims Limbsaver ?

Pachmayr decelerate I have one on my A bolt 338 mag. Works great. Limbsavers are the new guy on the block.

I have both. Sims isn't really the new kid on the block. I've had an SVL on a RUM for a long time. They both work well but I'll give the nod to the SVL. I replaced the Decelerator on a .300 RUM with one, and a .338 came with one. Good pads. mtmuley

Taking my rifle in tomorrow to see what our local sports shop has there that is precision fit,no grinding I hope.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-26-14 AT 00:57AM (MST)[p]I have both decelerators and SVL on most of my rifles..If your doing a grind to fit, pachmayr decelerator, by a mile.

Decelerators also shoulder cleaner, and last longer in a grind to fit..SVL that are made to fit from the factory are a different story, they are very clean and dont gum up like their grind to fits do.

Got my recoil pad on ,what a difference in felt recoil.Went with the SIMS Limbsaver. Best $35 bucks I could spend on this rifle.
