2 shooting benches, one group shooting using one of the benches while they have there sodas, empty brass, optics, cases, and other guns taking up space on bench #2. All the while they repeatedly look back at me waiting for..... Clock is still ticking... Inconsiderate people.

See that all the time. When I do use a public range I try and get there early when it opens. Beat the crowd that normally shows up around 10:00 A.M.
If I am shooting several rifles and will be there for a while, I have shared the other end of the bench with someone waiting in line and use my tailgate to hold the shooting supplies and guns.
The ones I really get disgusted with is the idiot on the far end of the range popping off a shot just because the person that is down range is at the other end and he thinks it is ok to shoot after cease fire has been called. Have not seen that stupid stunt for a while.

I think you'd see an A** whipping if someone popped a shot off on the opposite end of the range if I was down range. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to handle weapons out of sheer stupidity.

I waited around 40 minutes before they cleared their crap off. Actually worked out for the best as after they left, this 75 year old gentleman shows up and pulls out this 1870ish? lever action 44/40 in mint condition, don't recollect the brand. We looked over eachothers groups and spent better than a hour range chatting mostly about his choice plinker. Guess it was meant to be.

+1 at the range I go to, strictly forebidden!

Our range has I think 18 or 20 stations so crowding isn't a problem. One thing I hate is when there is a bunch of the new tacticool guys spraying brass everywhere. I don't have anything against ARS, just some of the users. mtmuley

Yep, and they spray lead too... like they can hit anything. They must watch too much TV!
I have an AR but I'm not sure why. When I shoot it off the bench I use a brass catcher, for several reasons.
