Anyone know anything about these new rifles, just read an article today in the latest Outdoor Life Magazine?

I don't own one yet, but handled one, it was quality built and comfortable I also did a lot of research. I'd buy it, they are designed as lightweight rifles for accuracy made of modern materials for resiliency.

I plan to buy the Forbes LLC production gun because of budget limits in a .243 for antelope/deer. I don't hunt goats or sheep but a bigger caliber is probably a better choice if that's your game.

I have got one in .30-06. I like it. It shoots nice tight groups hovering around .75 moa. A little harder to shoot off hand than a heavier rifle. If you do a lot of hiking you will not even notice it is there. My only other gripe is I tend to chew my thumb up loading it with the supplied tally rings. They have kinda sharp on the edges. The action is really tight and shoots really nice.

Just uploaded 4 pics of groups from my first and second range session with a Forbes 24B in 280 Ackley. Its impressive.

I have one of Melvin's old rifles he built for me it's as good as they get. I'm sure the new ones are great too but I'm not sure if he has as much hands on with them .

My only gripe is I really don't care for the feel of the stock design. but I'd buy another anyway.
