I was wondering if anyone owns one. What kind accuracy they getting. I'm Thinking about buying one in the 7mm or the 300win. Thanks for your information.

I have a 325 wsm browning A bolt stainless it is shooting -1/2 moa at 200 yrds I reload hoping to get it a little better I am using the sierra game kings 220 grain sp

I owned an Abolt III in 270 for awhile, it shot well with no problems but the quality did not match up to my other Abolts ,so down the road it went.I am an Abolt II fan. Just did not like the plastic stock on the Abolt III.

I never owned an A-Bolt III, but I have owned the original A-Bolt, A-Bolt II and X-Bolt. Every one has been a tack driver right out of the box. My current go to rifle is the X-Bolt Stainless Stalker in 7MM Remington Magnum. I will never own another brand.

You can still find the A-Bolt II if you search the net. It is now a limited edition rifle. I bought a Stainless Stalker in .270 for my wife in 2013 from Bass Pro for $499. It was part of a special run for their deer camp promotion.

In any case, I would spend $529 for an A-Bolt III just to test it out.

My opinion is an A-bolt or A-boltII is better than a X-bolt or A-bolt III. I'd search for the former in either of the calibers your considering. If you find a new or used one in nice condition buy it!
