I did something kind of stupid!
I purchased a rifle at an auction a little while ago. I bought a 6mm Tejas custom build rifle. The issue is, I've been unable to find ammo or dies for the gun.. I don't reload but was wondering what my options are so I can get some ammo. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I'd contact whoever built the gun and see if they can cut you a custom set with the reamer they used. If not there are a few companies who make them. Whidden dies might make them.

Or try your google-fu and check some of the custom ammo makers. I have a friend that has used Superior Ammo for his 375. They seem to have a lot of different calibers they load for and prices are decent considering. Other than that, like the other fellow mentioned contact the smith for info.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-12-14 AT 07:17PM (MST)[p]Who did you call? Brad Stair at Performance Guns is the one behind the Tejas. He can make you anything you want. He made a complete dies set for my 300 Tejas. Even a full length case sizer .
They other thing is your gun like mine is base on a 6mm round. The Tejas has the shoulder moved up to 50 degrees like a rifle that has been ackley improved. My 300 Tejas is a 300 RUM with the shoulder moved up 50 degrees. I can shoot 300 rums in my gun to size them to load for my 300 Tejas. It's called fire forming my cases. I can also buy cases for my gun now from brad. If I run out of ammo for some reason. I can shoot 300 Rum in my gun. I lose the advantage of my Tejas . But I can shoot them even tho they are a slower. Have you tried to call Brad at 801 731 8152.

Thanks for the phone number and contact I didn't call Brad but I will now. Appreciate it.
