In the market for a good wind meter and would like to have some suggestions on what models to check out and what ones to stay away from.
Thanks
Ryan

Kestral 4500SV. It becomes part of a system, get one thats bluetooth capable. its a wind meter and a weather station that will communicate with a smart phone and a ballistic app like shooter,AE, and applied ballistics.

having atmosphere, wind, temp, direction and everything fed to your phone via bluetooth gives hassle free, most reliable solutions possible..All this stuff takes major tweaking to sync and tune and you have to be pretty ballistic savvy to make it all work.

if you're not, then a kestral 1000 starts at around 100 bucks, and is a good wind meter without the other features.

Been thinking about a wind meter as I get into LR more. Sounds like I'll be better off starting with the 1000. mtmuley
