I have wanted to try these in a 6.5mm in my .264 WM. They have been out for over a year and I have yet to actually lay my eyes on one. Now Nosler came out with 142 grain in the 6.5 with a .719 BC. Why doesn't Nosler work on actually MAKING the bullets instead of developing new ones to just tease me with????!!!

that is a sexy bc. maybe for once ill be able to get just one of my guns to shoot an ablr well... may as well be a 6.5

The bc seems a bit inflated to me. Probably a computer generated number but still not bad. At least they went heavier.
Marley- Don't overlook the Berger hybrids and the matrix vld if you want a heavy 6.5 bullet. They are pure hammers.

I lucked into a couple of boxes of the 129 ABLR - I'm waiting on my rifle build to finish up before I'll have the chance to try them out. If things don't work out with these, I'll most likely go with the matrix VLD in a 150 or 160 6.5.

Some friends of mine are using them and the GS Customs in a 6.5 Ultra Mag. Good results so far. If the BC is inflated you will find out at the range. Gotta shoot and adjust anyway. mtmuley

I really like the sound of a 142 LR AB in a 6.5 caliber.

All you guys have experience so you know some guns will shoot 'em and some won't.

Currently I don't know what the deal is with Nosler but they seem to be chasing their tail rather than actually producing their new products.

I like several of their products so it might be worth the wait... but the wait might be so long that a guy goes elsewhere for his high BC bullets.

Good luck in your quest for "just right"

Nosler is behind on all production , and the 6.5 LRAB is the most behind because they keep almost all of them for factory loads in their 26 Nosler. good luck finding any I stop by the plant every few weeks and they never have as much in stock as Cabelas does.

They did buy a new building and they are going to up their production at some point in the future. rumor has it they're going to start making .22 rimfire too.

The BC on the LRAB seems too high in all calibers to me. I suspect they're making a good thing better than it .

Stay thirsty my friends

They're "puffing" a bit, huh?
Proof will be in the actual trajectory but having a semi-valid BC number is a better place to start than having a pie-in-the-sky number.

Ive used the 140 grain Berger VLD hunting in my 264wm. The Berger vild is devastating on game. I've used them on both mule deer and elk and all dropped with one shot. the ranges have been from 50 yards to 476 yards and they have performed excellent. I recently had one of my 264 winchester magnum rechambered to a 26 nosler so far the Accubond LR is pretty accurate havent had a chance to use on elk or deer. I'm going to reload the 140 grain Berger vld hunting on my 26 nosler just because of the damage they did to the vitals in my 264 win mag. the only problem I've had is findingNosler Accubond LR in any form loaded ammo or just the bullet. seen them on usamidway website for $65 but already have 2 boxes that I bought before. so hopefully another company jumps in and starts selling loaded ammo or brass so its not so expensive
