Summit Carbon rifle by Christenen Arms

RE: Summit Carbon rifle by Christenen Arms

I had one of the earlier carbon rifles Christensen built, for a short time. shot more of a pattern than a group.

I'm sure that aren't all that bad but it cured me.

LAST EDITED ON May-04-15 AT 04:47PM (MST)[p]Was it a full choke pattern, at least? haha

I've seen the same thing with some of them, although I've never owned one of my own. I have no idea what models they were.

My cousin has a 300 Rem Ultra and it shoots like a laser! A guy would be hard pressed to find a better shooting big gun!

What problems did you have?

John Mogle, who used to head up Christensen, now is involved with Fierce Rifles. Another option if you really want a carbon barrel. I've never seen any real advantage to them. mtmuley

I have a Remington and a HS precision in 300 rum, the HS is a tac driver and the Remington also shoots well,I really don't need another one, thank's for your replies.

The first was just the Hunter model. It shot great and I loved it. The second was fully custom and it shot 3-4 inch groups no matter what I tried. I sent it back twice with no luck. I like the looks of a carbon barrel. And I'm sure most of their guns probably shoot. Mine put a bad taste in my mouth
