LAST EDITED ON May-27-15 AT 08:17PM (MST)[p]I just tried installing the new sear and spring on a Ruger 77/22. It didn't go well. The replacement parts, when put together, does not allow the bolt to engage when closing the bolt, it closes like when you are holding the trigger down while closing the bolt. I ended up using the original sear and the new spring. It functions safely now and there is minor improvement. I'm not sure of the pull weight, but it's not good enough for a target rifle.
Anyone have experience with this model? Are there other trigger systems/parts out there that have better results for this model? I'm sure Timney is not the end all be all.
Thanks
