LAST EDITED ON Jun-24-15 AT 00:18AM (MST)[p]Decided I needed a new .223 so I bought a CZ-527 Ebony.
Talk about a great rife....So now I own two.
If your looking for a new yote killer I definitely recommend them.
Accurate and dependable.

Beautiful rifle!
I don't own one and must admit that I've never even held one but I only hear really good things about them.
Several custom stock makers use them as a starting point for some really special bespoke rifles.
You'll enjoy the hell out of it, would be my guess!

Everyone I've known who owned one has had nothing but good things to say about them. The problem,as your finding out, is before long they own a dozen of em! Which Is why I've refrained from buying one! :D

From what I hear there's only a couple shipments/year. Some local shops will get 8 or 10 around here a couple times a year. They're not on the shelves long. They do have a website I'm not sure if that helps ya or not but maybe they could line you out with the right contact.

Tell your FFL dealer to check Lipseys. They are a CZ stocking distributor. I have owned several cz's and love them. I have a 527 varminter that I took to Africa and shot bushpig, baboon and vervet monkeys with. I really like the set trigger on them.

Like some have mentioned the CZ-527 and the CZ-550 models have a set trigger that is a dream. Fully adjustable.
Even some of the rimfire's have them like the CZ-453 model.
I have beem lucky finding them anywhere from Gunbroker to Whittaker's, TechNet Armory and even Wholesale Hunter.

The Ebony Editions are exclusive limited production rifles and come in only small amounts and fly off the shelves. If you see one do not hesitate.

I have a 527 American in 204....it is a very good shooter. the set trigger is very nice.

I have one but have handle several. Overall an awesome gun. Solid build, smoothe action, nice bass ackwards safety on the rim fires, and just plain nice handling. Was lookin for a .17hmr in the trainer model today but not the easiest to find so the search continues...
