I was wondering if any of you have taken the course or just bought the rifle to use from the Thompson long range site? I have been looking at getting a long range rifle for some time now and for the money this seems like a good gun to go with to me from what I have read about them. The one concern I have is the leupold scope in low light conditions? I use a z5 Swarovski scope on my .300 right now and it is amazing in low light conditions so it's hard for me to make the switch unless I hear about the gun from others.

The fact that he calls all other scopes inferior to his Leupold is hilarious! For that reason alone I wouldn't buy his stuff.

Leupold is great, but not the best.

Unless I'm missing something he's selling you an Accumark with a VX-3 , nothing special about either. also ran's in the long range world.

For a little more money you can buy a nice used higher end rifle and a Nightforce scope. McWorter, MOA, Gunwerks they're out there all the time for sale second hand if you don't want to pay the new price.

Stay thirsty my friends

Go buy a custom 30 Hart from Bob Hart of RW Hart, way less money then the rest and proven. Bob was a World Champion in 1986 and has taught the FBI snipers about shooting at distance. Best thing is he has the loads all worked out for you. He sent me some of his hand loads w/ my gun and he made a believer out of me when my first group out of the new rifle went .192 at 100 yards with a Nosler bullet. Best thing about him is he'll give it to you straight if you ask him.
