Scope Level Question

I have a question concerning a scope level on my Swarovski PH 30mm scope. I am right handed and have been blind in my left eye for about 3 years. When I mounted a scope level for use with my left eye, I couldn't see it without my right eye leaving the view through the scope to look at the level. I have the same problem when it is mounted on the right. This issue became such a distraction that I pulled the level off the scope. How important is it to have a scope level? Most of my shots are in the 200 to 300 yard range. Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

I totally agree with the other 2 posters!

For decades+ we managed to pound a few animals, here and there, without all the new whiz-bang gadgetry that we have today. I don't have a level on everything I shoot and worry nothing about it when I hunt with those rifles.

The only real answer is consistency. If you sight in your rifle, and then mount and shoot it the same as it was sighted in, it doesn't matter if it is level or not. Just that it is the same. Out to 400 yards or so, it would not bother me at all.
