I've been thinking about buying one in 22 Hornet. Do any of you guys have a CZ? What model do you have? This would be the last rifle I buy that is not custom built. I would like to hear your opinions.

I have a 527 american in 204 ruger. Not the smoothest operator but not unacceptable. Very accurate.

I have a CZ-75-PO1 semi auto pistol in 9mm....very high quality . Everything CZ makes is top of the line....put a trigger kit in it makes a huge difference.....if you get into CZ's check out Cajon Gun Works website for toy"s.....good Luck

I have a 527 in a .204 it is a tack driver. One of my favorite guns in the safe. I don't think you can go wrong with a CZ IMO

I have the CZ 455 Varmint in 22lr and the 452 Scout in 22lr. Both re excellent shooters and quality guns. CZ makes quality guns.

Have a 527 American in 22 hornet. Most fun gun to shoot I own and a super good grouper for a hornet. Shoots 3/8 to 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards depending on which bullet I use. Great gun for calling predators and shooting crows.

I ordered the 527 in 22 Hornet. It should be here by the new year. I was looking at loads and like the 40 gr Ballistic Tip. I also saw the data for the 22 K Hornet. I am trying to find out if I could ream the barrel to 22 K Hornet and still have the ammo feed correctly in the magazine. Do any of you know if that's possible or where I can find out? I will pick up some rounds from an old gunsmith that has one in single shot and try it out, but would like to make the move sooner if I can find out if it will work.

If you MAKE a K-Hornet Chamber, Both Regular Hornet + K-Hornet Cartridges work, feed and, you'll FIRE-FORM Brass while shooting Critters with Regular Hornet ammo.

If possible, have the Die cut with the same reamer. Here is where the skills of who does the work will be shown. If Chamber Dimensions are what I suspect, then all you will need to reload is a Neck Die only, not full length sizer activity.

It looks like they will easily fit in the magazine but I was concerned about feeding into the chamber because of the fact they are altered even though it's not by much. I'm excited about this one.

What about a 223 to 221 Fireball in say a Model 700 or Ruger m77 or CZ? I have a few 223s and want to try a 221 that's a repeater & not a single shot.

A "Quick Draw" response is...... Drum-Roll..... Find the spec's on the M1 Carbine necked down to 22 cal. Now THAT would be a conversation piece and Fun.

Are you old enough to remember 1970's conversions of M1 Carbines to the 22 cal...?

Just do it in/on a Bolt Gun.

Off the subject slightly but I have the S&W Handgun in 22 Jet. It never does the "Brass" backing out bad stuff, ie: what they said and, kids & Wife always Hog it.
