I spent some time on the bench yesterday with my .264 WM. It's my lightweight pack rifle with a Pierce titanium action, bench rest barrel, Jewel trigger, and McMillan Edge stock built by Kevin Weaver. The rifle weighs in at 5.5 lbs. I'm getting 3350 fps with 142 grain Accubond long range. Not a bad group with such a lightweight rifle.

Great shooting! What barrel length and twist did you go with? 8 twist I assume. What powder? Retumbo?
I'm about to build a 264 for a buddy and debating some options.

The 264 WM is really making a comeback or a breakout or whatever but it's always been a great round and I'm glad to see it receiving the belated and well deserved credit.

Yup, for a rifle that lightweight that's a pretty spectacular group!! I remember when you posted some pictures of that rifle, IMHO about the perfect build I've seen posted especially for a hunting rig.

Congrats, hope you have much success with it - feel free to post some additional pictures, those Pierce Ti actions are nice!!
