Trigger Shoes

I have one rifle with a Trigger shoe, it was one I inherited from my dad. He said it was the poor mans trigger job. I would like to install them on two other rifles but can't seem to find a place to buy them. Do any of you have a good source? Do any of you have them on your rifles?

Thanks Homer. I may go that route, but don't really want to create another account with passwords to remember. One reason I started thinking about these shoes is because recently I saw a Pre 64 308 with one and haven't seen one in a long time, so I got my rifle out that I haven't handled for about a year and played with it for a while. That kind of put me into a search mode.

Back in the day they were a dime a dozen. It sounds from Homer that they are more difficult to find nowadays. I used them for years but got out of the habit.

Some guys have had issues with them if the shoe slips on the blade. They can't get their gun to fire in the heat of the moment. While this is rare, it does happen unless you keep the set screws snugged up.
