Built by Kevin Weaver. It's a 28 Nosler built on a Defiance Deviant ultra light stainless steel action, Brux #3 barrel at 25.5" 8.5 twist, Jewell trigger, McMillan hunters edge stock. It weighs in at 8.4 lbs with the scope. Shoots a 197 grain Sierra match king at 3100 fps using Retumbo.

These are 2 different loads. Both groups shot at 300 yards. The Berger 195s is a FIVE shot group and the Sierra 197s is a three shot group. I'm in love.

First class. I'm thinking of building almost the same rifle.

Are you going to ty the ELD-X in it? I'm hearing good things about them.

What's not to love Marley?

The 28 will be making its way into my vault after a couple others that I have in the works. Probably the next build for my brother but I've just got to get my 6.5x280ai built to see what it will do.

Can't help but be a little envious of that rifle.
Looks great and appears to shoot almost magically!
Ha,ha..I love a shooter. Even the ugliest gun is a keeper if it shot like that.
The cheapskate in me will simply confine me to customized factory rifles off the shelf.
I can't get better than three inch groups at the 400 and with a magnum I'd like to think I can be happy with that. But, then comes a guy with a post like this to show me I'm not worthy.

Thanks alot!
Great rifle and good luck this fall.
