just ordered in a 6.5creed more. any reviews or tips for loads or breaking in

LAST EDITED ON Oct-03-17 AT 03:31PM (MST)[p]Just got done breaking in my 6.5 Mesa. I just followed the procedure in the owners manual. It shoots about .5 moa at 100 yards with Hornady 143 grain ELD-X factory ammo. I just shot a 1.8? group at 400 yards with the same ammo (.45 moa). I have the Mesa in a 7mm Rem Mag and a 6.5 Creedmoor. I bought them both this fall. I'm very happy with them. Both shoot that same Hornady factory ammo (143 gr. in the 6.5 & 162 gr. in the 7mm) about .5 moa. I'll shoot factory loads with them for this hunting season and then work on load development in the off season for next year. Lot of bang for the buck in my opinion.

Just bought one in a .300 Win Mag. I'll be breaking it in this week hopefully! I love everything about it up to this point! I sent my brand new Remington Sendero back to Remington because it wouldn't group! Hopefully the Mesa does a better job.
