338 Lapua

Never really been able to get my 338 Lapua to group well at 100 yards. I purchased some RL 33, 106.0 grains, Barnes TTS 225gn, CCI mag primer.

This is a 4 shot group, the hole to the left is my first shot, the hole to the right is my next 3 after scope adjustment. Did not chronograph, but should be around 3178fps.

Hope this helps someone, I have tried a lot of loads.

That's some great shooting! Most of us would love to see that group with our rifles.

Not really great on my part, rifle was in a lead sled @ 100 yards. I was about to give up on the rifle. Took a long time to find a good shooting load.

step up to the 300g berger. every load ive put together looks like that.

Well it looks like you got the gun ironed out. Now its just up to you. No more excuses. ???

Ive tried the 300 Bergers, could not get them to group. I have not tried them with RL33, which I will try next. I am taking it out this weekend to shoot at longer distances, out to 400 yards, thats my limit on animals.
