New barrel

Just ordered a new barrel for my 300RUM. Gonna finish at 28" medium palma, 1-8 twist. Should be able to shoot those new berger 245's when they come out.

Good choice, I have two rifles with Bartlein barrels and they're both shooters! Gonna have a full custom built in the not so distant future and it'll be getting a Bartlein as well.

I'm partial to bartlein as well. Bugholes keeps some in stock and thought I seen a 29? 1:8 30cal the other day. Can?t remember the contour, but thinking it may have been varmint.

Ya for several weeks prior was checking all the websites hoping to not have to order direct from bartlien. The varmint contour would be too heavy. Went with medium palma. Just need to decide on a bullet, am sure berger won't release the 245's until sometime this fall.
