The prices on all WW2 firearms are out the roof (try to buy a good 1911).

It could be from $300 to over a $1,000. Different companies made them. The British made them, Remington made them for the British. Some go back to WW1. So yes, some are more valuable than others. Original condition is important to collectors. If it's been modified to a sport model then not worth as much.

Might start by buying you a book on them and they do sell regularly on Gunbroker.

I checked my latest book on gun values for dealers, and it no longer has any Enfields listed. Still list American and German military rifles, not English made ones. There was several models of the enfield, and I think the last model used in WW11 was the Mark 1V.

I have one I inherited from dad. But like yours it was "sporterised" by cutting back the stock. Made the gun not worth much. Fun to shoot, and like a lot of the ww2 surplus from back in the day, responsible for a lot of big dead dear as they and the 06 were a major upgrade from the lever guns that they replaced.
